Hi, I’m Minaret, Founder of Nivari.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been someone who sees the potential for warmth and beauty, even in the starkest places.
Nivari was born from my own experiences of love, loss and wanting to bring comfort to the people who matter most.

My Story
Growing up with the pain of rejection from my mother and my father passing away at just 49, I came to understand how meaningful it can be to feel cared for, supported and less alone during difficult times.
Those experiences shaped the way I see care, not always as something grand, but often in the smallest gestures that let someone know they matter.
A Friend Who Changed Everything.
Years later, that understanding became deeply personal when I stood beside my best friend, Trish, a woman who was almost a mother to me, as she faced the final stages of cancer.
There was so much I couldn’t change. But I could make the space around her feel a little softer, warmer and more comforting.
So I began bringing small things; a soft blanket, a better pillow, a mattress topper, a sound machine, an eye mask, essential oils and even some candy to bring a little sweetness to her day.
Together, those small comforts became a care pack created especially for her.
Sometimes Comfort Is Enough.
Watching Trish go through those final stages changed something in me.
It showed me that even when we can’t change what someone we love is facing, we can still change how cared for they feel in that moment.
That realisation became the heart of Nivari, creating thoughtful ways to bring comfort, care and connection when words simply aren’t enough.
From Helplessness to Something Tangible
When someone we love is experiencing illness, grief, loneliness, homesickness or one of life’s difficult seasons, it can be hard to know what to do.
I know that feeling of helplessness, wanting desperately to make things better when you simply can’t.
Nivari was created to turn that feeling into something tangible.
